Well what can we tell you about us?

BushBaby Crafts & Collectables is our dream come true. We are working together to fulfil our dream of running a business doing what we love to do....making hand-crafted gifts for others to enjoy for years to come alongside selling collectables and small antiques chosen by us... because we like them.

BushBaby Crafts started working from two workshops surrounded by beautiful plants and trees plus (most importantly) the wildlife that visited. Then a day out back to Battlesbridge Antiques & Crafts Centre in Essex, back in the Spring opened the door our new venture.... BushBaby Crafts & Collectables was born.

Although we hand-craft gifts using a variety of materials, we primarily work with wood. We believe that wood is such a tactile material and stimulates all senses. To us the sight, smell and feel of wood are what gets us motivated. Although we purchase our unfinished boxes from a supplier (in order to bring you gifts at an affordable price), we pride ourselves in making our signs and plaques and some other items in our workshop.

Because we take pride in and enjoy the work we do, we hope that this shows in the quality of the gifts and items that we sell.

Many of our gifts are unique. Although some may appear similar to others, each will have its own individual charm due to the nature of the natural material used and the fact that they are hand-crafted.

We also offer a personalisation service whereby you are in control of the design of your gift. We like to communicate directly with our customers where possible and love to receive e-mails. So if you have a specific request or ideas that you wish to discuss then why not drop us a line. We will consider all requests and can advise you of cost of item and postage and packaging costs by return.

We supply personalised memory boxes which are ideal for that special event or person- memory boxes, wedding boxes, birth day boxes, bereavement boxes, storage for photos etc.

 These can be personalised using pyrography or paint techniques and finished in accordance to your preference and budget.

We also personalise jewellery and trinket boxes, novelty gifts, signs, plaques etc.

Please note that we do not offer a returns policy on personalised items unless said item is faulty or because of mistakes made by ourselves (eg not following written data supplied).
